Network print management provider GoPrint Systems has developed a direct interface to NuVision Networks One Card System. While designed specifically for Texas A&M International University, the new interface will work with any school utilizing the One Card program and GoPrint’s GS-3.
San Ramon, Calif. – GoPrint Systems, Inc., the leading edge provider of multi-platform print cost recovery and network print management solutions for colleges and universities, is pleased to announce the development of a direct interface to NuVision Networks One Card System, a leader in the One Card System marketplace with headquarters in Napa, California with offices in Newtown Square Pennsylvania. This interface allows campuses like Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) the ability to use their existing One Card System with the GoPrint GS-3 Solution flawlessly.
GoPrint’s GS-3 Solution helps campuses recover costs associated with excessive and wasteful network printing. The GoPrint Solution, which is server based and supported on Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, Novell and Thin-Client platforms with a web enabled control center, also includes a host of unique features including a vast section of customizable print rules, 110 plus built-in reports package, student quota account system and support for all payment systems and types. GoPrint offers both a release station and workstation non-resident popup option for easy release of print jobs.
NuVision’s One Card System is one of the most powerful One Card Systems available today working in real time to bring multiple sources together for a single source of payment. NuVision has the ability to process more than 200 encrypted transactions per second, and offers a secure wireless solution to remote campuses.
TAMIU moved to the NuVision One Card System in the Fall of 2004 about a year before purchasing the GoPrint GS-3 Solution. During sales negotiations, GoPrint President & CEO Steve Haber agreed to develop, jointly with NuVision, the direct for TAMIU in the second of two phases. The first phase allowed students to become familiar with the GS-3 Print Management software before adding the NuVision One Card System and was in operation in the summer of 2005. As of January 2006, GoPrint was up and running with the new NuVision One Card System.
