Also Guarantees 2% Discount on Any Published “CASI”-compatible Proximity Card Pricing from Any Other Source
BOCA RATON, FLA. – November 20, 2003 – GE Interlogix Access and Integration Group (NYSE:GE) today announced significant discounts on five of the company’s most popular proximity cards, including the Entrée, ProxLite and ISO ProxLite proximity cards. In addition to prices as much as 65 percent lower on the ISOProx with magnetic stripe, GE Interlogix has also introduced the industry’s first discount guarantee on the same five proximity cards.
“We will guarantee that our pricing to our business partners will be at least two percent less than the published pricing of ‘CASI’-compatible cards from any other source,” said Randall Provoost, GE Interlogix product marketing manager for credentials and readers. “We intend to become the preferred supplier for security credentials and access control systems for system integrators and customers around the world. This price guarantee sets a new benchmark and illustrates our mission to provide new, economical pricing for top quality access control products, including credentials.”
The new pricing reflects exhaustive security industry investigations to find and approve new proximity card manufacturers both in the United States and internationally.
“Before a manufacturing company can gain GE Interlogix approval for proximity cards carrying the GE logo, they have to pass extensive qualification and production quality tests, be compliant with the Six Sigma quality programs, and undertake strict adherence to cataloging and producing unique cards for all GE customers, preventing any possibility of badge identification number duplication,” said Provoost.
The five proximity cards available with the discount price guarantee are the Entrée, ISO ProxLite, ISO ProxLite with magnetic stripe and two versions of the ProxLite, one with a photo image on both sides and the other with the GE logo on the front and a white gloss back. The new lower pricing and discount price guarantee take effect immediately.
