GAO RFID has announced the launch of its new contactless UHF Gen 2 silicon wristband tag.

Designed for personnel verification in hospitals, nursing homes, schools and other institutions, the tag (model 116401) operates at 860-960MHz, providing a read range of 5-12 cm. The Gen 2 IMPINJ-complaint tag also features 96 bits of memory and comes encased in silicon, making it comfortable to wear.
