GAO launches contactless M4 development kit

GAO Embedded has announced the release of its 13.56MHz M4 development kit, specially designed to operate with three firmware variations for product authentication, access control and contactless payment.
According to GAO, the development kit includes all hardware and software components required for the development of applications based on the modular firmware. It contains the reader module, a host interface board, a PCB external antenna, a Flex antenna for payment tailored firmware, an antenna cable, a 9V power supply and a RS232 cable.
Additionally, GAO’s sample tag kit includes a variety of ISO 14443A, 14443B and 15693 compatible labels and form factors, as well as demonstration software, C API libraries and a command-line interface.
