GAO Gen 2 Bluetooth reader suited for asset tracking and livestock tagging

GAO RFID Inc. announced availability of a handheld ultra-high frequency (UHF) Gen 2 Bluetooth RFID reader/writer designed for applications in asset tracking, warehouse management and livestock tagging.
The advanced Gen 2 RFID interrogator, model 246008, provides a swivel read head to enable for the most favorable read rates regardless of tag orientation and for comfortable operation by the user. It is available in a variety of frequencies for use in North America, Europe, Japan and Korea.
The UHF Gen 2 Bluetooth RFID reader/writer is compatible with ISO 18000-6C and EPC Class1 Gen 2 tag protocols and provides a reliable read range of 3 meters to 5 meters. The RFID reader features high sensitivity, flexibility and its simple trigger button and LED display offers ease of operation.
It offers flexible options for data transfer to a host through Bluetooth or USB which allows for easy connection to devices such as PDAs, laptops or smart phones. It also features increased sensitivity while still rejecting interference which boosts performance in challenging dense reader environments.
