Fujitsu has announced it will showcase its biometric physical access control system at the 2011 International Security Conference and Expositions (ISC West) April 6 though 8 in Las Vegas. The system, called PalmEntry Physical Access Control, utilizes the company’s PalmSecure palm vein pattern technology to authenticate users and allow authorized personnel access to secured areas.
Christer Bergman, vice president of the biometric solution group at Fujitsu, is going to be on hand at the conference to discuss the system as well as how other innovations from Fujitsu are tackling areas of physical access control, identity management and other authentication needs.
In addition to ISC West, an invitation-only media tour of Vantage Data Centers, an energy efficient data center solutions company, will be going on later this month to allow the media to see Fujitsu’s PalmEntry in action at Vantage’s headquarters as part of the Smart Data Center Revolution Earth Day Event.
