FST21, an Israel-based developer of biometric solutions, has announced the release of their new multi-factor system called the SafeRise System, which is designed as a physical access control for high-rise, office, multifamily and multi-tenant buildings.
SafeRise utilizes facial, voice and behavioral biometrics to authenticate a user’s identity and determine whether or not the individual is cleared for access to the area protected by the system.
What sets the system apart from other biometric access control system’s fusion of both hardware and software utilizing a variety of technologies to assess a user’s walk, talk, look, vehicle, voice patterns and stress levels to help determine whether or not the individual should be allowed past the security checkpoint.
Additionally, to assist with the functionality of the system, it includes a redundant on-site server, networked door controllers and intercoms, high-resolution surveillance cameras and electronic locks. As a final layer of security, the system offers the optional service of having a live monitoring center being contacted under specific circumstances.
