FST21, a company that specializes in intelligent controlled access and automation solutions, has announced a partnership with security technology developer HID Global wherein HID’s RFID readers will be able to be integrated with various FST21 access control systems.
Among the offerings that FST21 is now offering with RFID reader upgrades include their face recognition, voice recognition, behavior pattern recognition, license plate recognition and visitor management system.
Part of what the addition of RFID technology means to FST21’s customers is the ability to grant access cards with RFID capabilities to authorized personnel to enable easier movement through a protected facility and rely on biometric authentication such as voice recognition for any visitors with the authorized person.
Officials from both companies are describing the new partnership as key to future growth and in developing a more wide-reaching physical access control solution.
