Diamond exchange taps FST Biometrics for access
The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) has deployed FST Biometrics secure access solution at the entry point of its new polishing house.
FST’s In Motion Identification technology combines a fusion of facial recognition and body behavior biometric analytics technologies. Providing a non-invasive and secure system, in motion access guarantees security for the permanent staff and hundreds of frequent visitors to IDE’s polishing house – while allowing them hands-free, hassle-free entry.
Located outside of the IDE’s main campus, the polishing house requires an access solution that guarantees security for the diamonds it processes daily without impacting the access speed of hundreds of staff and visitors.
Telaeris integrates biometric into XPressEntry
Telaeris adds biometric identification to its handheld line of products with XPressEntry BioMatch. Combined with XPressEntry’s list of supported credential types including Prox, PIV, iClass, Mifare and bar code, BioMatch enables two or three factor identification.
The system supports biometric algorithms including Sagem-Morpho, Innovatrics, and ANSI 378. XPressEntry Biomatch can also be integrated with existing physical access control systems.
XPressEntry BioMatch can operate disconnected from any network, with fingerprint templates, user images, and badges stored locally in an encrypted database for authentication on the device. Tested with more than 100,000 users, XPressEntry Biomatch can validate users in seconds.
Crossmatch adds functionality to Altus
Crossmatch announced enhanced functionality of its DigitalPersonaAltus strong, multi-factor authentication solution. The enhancements provide expanded mobile credential capabilities and biometric reader compatibility.
DigitalPersona Altus is a multi-factor authentication solution integrates with legacy infrastructure and easily enables the multi-factor approach of something you know — password, PIN, OTP — something you have — token, card — and something you are – biometric — providing IT managers and security professionals a way to harness the various factor combinations.
The DigitalPersona Altus solution provides a migration path for existing DigitalPersona Pro customers who are considering enhancing their authentication approach.
