category: NFC
FreeLinc has announced the issuance of a new patent that enables NFC devices to change between multiple communication channels in order to avoid interference between similar devices.
This will allow NFC systems, including NFC Personal Area Networks (PANs), with extended range to co-exist while they are in close proximity.
According to FreeLinc, NFC PANs are becoming increasingly popular for military applications, public safety communications, consumer products and the cell phone industry, making the new patent a timely addition to its NFC portfolio.
