Five new smart phones compatible with DeviceFidelity’s In2Pay

DeviceFidelity has announced that its In2Pay microSD solution will be supported on a variety of new smart phones, including the Blackberry Tour 9630, the Android-based Samsung Epic 4G and the Samsung Fascinate, Mesmerize and Showcase models.
DeviceFidelity’s In2Pay is a plug and play mobile contactless solution that transforms smart phones into interactive mobile payment devices. The In2Pay solution features multiple account wallet capability, TSM compatibility for Over the Air provisioning, as well as support for secure personalization and distribution by financial institutions.
The original list of smart phones approved in December with In2Pay include the Samsung Vibrant, Samsung Galaxy-S i9000, Blackberry Bold 9650, iPhone 3G/3GS and iPhone 4 models.
Currently planned for submission for Visa approval are several other Blackberry CDMA, GSM, World and touch screen models, as well a several other Android models from Motorola, HTC and Huawei.
In addition, DeviceFidelity has released its In2Pay Range Extender that improves the read range of the microSD device via a tiny antenna, allowing users to perform contactless transactions at greater distance from the reader.
