category: Education
Fargo has released two new ID card products–one designed for the K-12 market or smaller corporations which don’t need a lot of security, and the other, an entry level ID badge software program in multiple languages.
Minneapolis, MN–Fargo Electronics, Inc., a global leader in secure technologies for card identity systems, announced the introduction of the Persona C30 Photo ID System. The C30 system is an easy-to-use system designed for organizations such as K-12 schools, small corporations, clubs or recreation facilities that need high-quality plastic ID cards without high-security features.
Fargo also announced the release of its entry level Persona Build-A-Badge ID card software in multiple languages–French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
The C30 system carries a two-year warranty and includes all the components needed to produce professional-looking IDs:
–Persona C30 single-sided card printer
–USB digital camera
–Persona Build-a-BadgeT software, now available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and German
–Full-color ribbon cartridge
–100 blank PVC cards
–USB cable
–3-pack of cleaning rollers
“The Persona C30 Photo ID System produces high quality cards without the complexity, installation and maintenance of more advanced card identity systems,” said Steve Blake, Fargo’s director of product marketing for secure systems. “Complete set up takes just a few minutes, and the reliable performance of the Persona C30 means it runs virtually maintenance-free.”
Pricing:
With a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $2495, the C30 is an affordable entry-level printer.
Build-A-Badge lets card program managers design ID cards, import or capture photographs and print single-sided cards with bar codes, text, logos and more, all from one application. Card designs can be selected from the library of templates, or can be easily created from scratch. When complete, the card template is saved and the personalized information is recorded to a database. To re-issue a lost or damaged card, the information can be recalled from the database, and the card reprinted.
“For entry-level applications, Build-A-Badge photo ID software is the ideal solution,” said John Ekers, Fargo’s director of product marketing for software and solutions. “The additional languages are important in supporting the low-end market in key geographic areas. As smaller organizations recognize their need for card identity systems, Build-A-Badge is easy to use and helps get their programs started quickly and easily.”
Pricing:
Build-A-Badge software carries a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $199.
