The Entrust IdentityGuard authentication system is ready for deployment amongst enterprises seeking protection on Microsoft Windows desktops and servers. The multi-factor authentication technology is designed specifically for Microsoft Windows clients. Entrust has reported that IdentityGuard can operate on more than 90% of the world’s Microsoft Windows desktops.
The solution is compatible Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, as well as its support for the basic Microsoft Windows XP.
Entrust’s technology enables organizations to layer security based on a set of unique requirements or the risk of a given transaction.
Capabilities such as username and password, IP-geolocation, device, questions and answers, out-of-band one-time-password, grid and eGrid cards, digital certificates and a range of one-time-password tokens are amongst the offerings.
