EarthSearch announced that it has shipped products on purchase orders from its Ghanaian partner MultiPlant for oil tanker monitoring and other logistics solutions.
To stabilize gas prices, the Ghanaian government reimburses oil companies delivering to the interiors of the country, which would not otherwise get services due to the cost of delivering to those regions. The Ghanaian government will deploy EarthSearch’s integrated LogiBoxx RF GPS device to prevent fraudulent claims for payment by oil distributors.
The system can detect the opening and closing of the “spicket,” monitor fuel level, and track the location location of the tanker using Google API – all critical data that must be submitted by the distributors to the government with the filing of claim for payment.
The LogiBoxx RF GPS system is programmed to recognize and monitor the destination and content of the oil tanker. And it communicates wirelessly with the RFSeal device which is used to secure the spicket on oil tankers travelling the highways.
The RFSeal lock on each spicket recognizes each time it is commissioned or unlocked, tagging the location, and cross referencing it with the designated destination; additionally monitoring content dispensed and generating alerts if any anomalies are detected.
