DXStorm selects HID Corporation as RFID supplier

DXStorm, which develops and markets micropayment, e-commerce, and medical imaging solutions, has chosen HID Corp. as its preferred RFID technology supplier, giving the company’s payment terminals the ability to accept both RFID and magstripe cards.
OAKVILLE, ON – DXSTORM announced that it has chosen HID Corporation, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, as its preferred supplier of RFID technology. HID’s worldwide presence and its iCLASS(R) technology made it the clear RFID choice for secure payments on DXStorm’s payment terminals.
DXStorm has enabled its existing magstripe payment terminals with HID’s iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology for internet-based payments. The ability to accept both RFID and magstripe technologies further illustrates DXStorm’s cutting-edge technology in the micropayment field.
This new HID relationship will enable approximately six million existing iCLASS clients with the ability to use their contactless smart cards for secure forms of payment at DXStorm payment locations deployed World-wide.
