DigitalPersona announced that its U.are.U 5100 series of fingerprint readers and modules has received Personal Identity Verification (PIV) certification and is now listed on the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) Certified Products List.

By receiving the PIV certification and subsequent spot on the IAFIS Certified Products List, DigitalPersona is much better positioned to have its U.are.U readers and modules integrated into Civil ID applications.
