Datamars announced the expansion of its RFID reader portfolio with the launch of the new high-frequency, mid-range reader, R-IN1300 MID, suited to applications in the industrial laundry sector where manual count and sorting processes are required. Datamars is a global supplier of RFID-based solutions for textile and companion animal identification.
With its reduced size and weight, the Datamars R-IN1300 MID reader is easy to handle and, when manually sorting textiles, allows operators to identify multiple items at once, reading up to 50 LaundryChips per second.
In addition to easy integration into existing laundry processes, its competitive pricing provides an excellent cost/performance ratio for an ISO 18000-3 13.56MHz RFID reader/writer. Other features include full ISO tag compatibility and a Web server configuration and application software for efficient management of data – a particularly crucial need when items are counted and sorted by hand.
With the introduction of the new Mid-Range reader, Datamars’ customers can now benefit from a range of products suited to their specific RFID requirement for laundry identification – whether on large conveyors, in bags or when sorting items manually.
