Dairygold, VisionID inks $339K mobile handheld deal

Mobile technology company VisionID announced a $339,000 deal to provide Dairygold Agri stores with Motorola handheld computers and a wireless infrastructure.
The deal will include the preloading of software and staging of Motorola MC3090 handheld devices. The infrastructure will consist of Motorola wireless access point devices for stocktaking and other product-related functions.
The technology will be utilized to track and trace stock in its 39 agri business outlets throughout Munster, UK.
