DAILY unveils RFID vehicle access control system
DAILY RFID has announced the release of a new vehicle access control system designed to provide secure access for drivers in parking lots and gated communities.
The system calls for drivers to attach passive UHF RFID sticker tags to their windshields. As the tagged vehicles pull up to security gates, DL910 readers installed on fixed overhead or roadside structures read the windshield tags and grant the vehicles access.
The vehicle access control system uses long-range RFID readers with a read range of up to 15 meters, allowing the tagged cars to be verified and admitted in motion, thus expediting the entry process.
According to a press release by DAILY, the RFID vehicle access control system requires little to no human intervention and features a low operation cost.
