DAILY RFID has announced its latest development in the field of washable RFID solutions and more specifically those designed for use in linen and laundry tracking applications.
The button size RFID laundry tag can be attached to garments via sewing, be pinned or tied on. Once tied to the garment, information is captured and stored in real time. The washable chip can be affixed to all types of laundry including towels, sheets and clothes.
Sealed in its protective material housing, the RFID tag remains safe and secure. It is completely resistant to water and can withstand high temperature, pressure and chemical conditions commonly found in laundry environments, such as textile rental and dry cleaning. It is also reusable for some several hundred times while retaining the same high performance and accuracy.
In addition, the company has debuted a new RFID ear tag for animal management. Made from polyurethane which is used in healthcare and not easy for bacteria to grow, each animal ear tag has its unique ID number, livestock owners can easily get animal’s information, such as feeding, location, vaccination, etc. Thus, it is ideal for applications in tracking animals like sheep, pigs, and cattle.
