DAILY RFID, a China-based developer of RFID technology, has released its new long range RFID gate reader.
The reader, called DL8220, is designed for human applications such as physical access control systems and time and attendance trackers. Other features of the new device include customizable interface and identification rate of 30 to 50 pieces per second. The reader offers four lines of infrared motion detection sensors, stay targeting police equipment, and optional 2D antenna for supporting those tag operations.
