Cross Match Technologies has announced it has reached an agreement with the Argentine Government to support the deployment of various biometric systems to help enhance new and existent government services.

Among the systems Cross Match will be assisting the government’s National Public Administration include fingerprint, palm print and multi-modal capture devices, document readers and supporting software.

Specifically, Cross Match will be tasked with assisting the government in developing policies surrounding the use of biometric technology, training personnel in its use, providing technical assistance, conducting research and recommending best practices for program development.
