Germany’s COMPRION has announced the launch of its new UT³ Platform, a test solution that determines the compliance of devices as specified by the GCF/PTCRB and the NFC Forum.
According to COMPRION, UT³ supports all the contact-based and contactless smart card interfaces, including ISO/IEC 7816, SWP/HCI, IC- USB or NFC. The solution can be used for testing a wide variety of devices, including mobile phones, contactless terminals, chipsets, NFC chips, NFC devices, M2M modules or laptops.
UT³ includes an integrated oscilloscope that ensures that the analogue signal behavior is not influenced by additional parasitic effects caused by the connection of external measurement equipment. UT³ can also test contact-based and NFC protocols synchronously, providing the entire picture of data exchanged between the UICC, the CLF and the contactless device.
Andreas Bertling, Product Manager at COMPRION, comments: “One advantage of the new system is that we offer a one-stop solution with matching hardware and software coming from one source. All the different technologies can be tested with a single box, making the handling of testing very convenient for the customer.”
