Fidelity Systems and Magna Carta Chipcard Solutions has been selected for Keele University to deploy a next generation electronic point of sale solution incorporating cashless payment, according to a BFNNews report.
The university’s new system will include a combination of the Fidelity GPoS solution integrated with the Magna Carta FacilityPro cashless payment system across the 617-acre campus.
The UK-based University first introduced Mifare contactless cards in 1998 to manage multiple applications using a single card.
The two companies sign a partnership agreement in September of last year. And the new system is set to go live later this year.
