A partnership between Lieberman Software Corp. and Raytheon Company is underway to provide a comprehensive solution to internal security threats against corporate and government networks.
The solution combines Raytheon’s SureView, a DVR-type incident recording and insider threat detection software with Lieberman’s Enterprise Random Password Manager, an identity management solution set.
The collaboration addresses the challenges businesses and organizations face when thwarting threats from those internal users allowed access. The solution by Lieberman and Raytheon works to combat this problem with a series of new operations.
They can identify unsecured privileged accounts in all major operating systems, network appliances, databases, Web services, and line-of-business applications. Then they can classify and secure privileged credentials and grant certain access to only authorized personnel. They can also monitor the endpoint activity of administrative users as they access sensitive data and send out alerts whenever there may be a potential threat.
A DVR-like replay feature on the software allows for viewings of captured user activities, fingerprinting critical intellectual property and enforcing policies to moderate both intentional and unintentional insider threats.
