CES to manufacture Magellan’s products for US customers

Magellan Technology recently appointed CES (Creative Electronics and Software Inc), a dedicated US based electronics turn key manufacturer and distribution facility, to manufacture Magellan’s full line of Phase Jitter Modulation (PJM) RFID reader products in the United States. The demand for Magellan’s unique range of RFID products from US customers has now reached a level where it is appropriate for Magellan to expand its manufacturing base and set up turn key manufacturing in the USA.
Magellan Technology signs Turn Key Manufacturing Agreement with CES
Magellan Technology Pty Ltd (Magellan) and Creative Electronics and Software Inc (CES) of Illinois, have signed an agreement, effective today, for CES to be the first Turn Key Manufacturer for Magellan reader products in the USA.
Sydney, Australia, Wednesday, June 13, 2007–Magellan Technology announces the appointment of CES, a dedicated US based electronics turn key manufacturer and distribution facility, to manufacture Magellan’s full line of Phase Jitter Modulation (PJM) RFID reader products. The demand for Magellan’s unique range of RFID products from US customers has now reached a level where it is appropriate for Magellan to expand its manufacturing base and set up turn key manufacturing in the USA. Manufacturing in the USA has started and technology transfer is ongoing.
Previously, Magellan’s customers were served directly from either Europe or Australia but demand from US customers is now such that Magellan has appointed CES as a turn key manufacturer to satisfy the growing needs of the Medical, Health, Life Sciences and Gaming market verticals in the USA. CES has manufacturing and warehouse facilities in both Illinois and Nevada and is ideally placed to service Magellan’s US customers.
CES will manufacture all of Magellan’s reader products including Tunnel Readers, Desk Top Readers, Document Readers, the MARS family of readers, and also specialist antennas. CES will primarily service but is not restricted to the US and North American markets.
