CDS Monarch, a New York-based human services organization providing services to individuals with disabilities and their families, has installed DigitalPersona’s Pro Enterprise software and U.areU. Fingerprint Keyboards to provide secure access to electronic medical records.
CDS Monarch says it chose this solution in order to track access to clinical software that’s currently on a network serving 35 sites.
The software offers a quick login feature that gets employees to Cerner’s CareTracker, eVero’s digitalAGENCY, ADP’s Time and Attendance and ADP’s HR & Benefits software. The DigitalPersona software gives employees the ability to have network roaming profiles that allow them to access agnecy information from multiple computers throughout the network.
The addition of fingerprint biometrics has helped CDS Monarch reduce IT costs and helpdesk password resets, and it’s helped speed up the login and authentication process.
