Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve has selected U.S. Bank as its partner for financial services on the campus’ official ID, the CaseOneCard. U.S. BANK PARTNERS WITH CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY
FOR ITS MULTI-USE CAMPUS IDENTIFICATION CARD
CLEVELAND (August 17, 2006) – Case Western Reserve University has chosen U.S. Bank to be its campus bank card partner. U.S. Bank will provide the technology for the banking functionality of the school’s multi-use identification card, called the CaseOneCard. U.S. Bank will also install an ATM in Nord Hall later in August.
This new partnership includes a variety of optional U.S. Bank financial products and services including checking accounts with no minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee for students, faculty and staff.
The CaseOneCard already provides official campus identification and a variety of conveniences including use of vending machines, meal plans, and admittance to residence halls, libraries, and computer labs for more than 9,000 Case students, faculty and staff.
For cardholders who also choose to open an account at U.S. Bank, the CaseOneCard will double as their ATM card on and off campus, and can be used as a debit card at merchants in the United States that accept Visa debit. A U.S. Bank branch is conveniently located at the Cleveland Clinic about a half mile from campus.
“We are excited about having the banking functionality available with the CaseOneCard,” says Beth Nochomovitz, director of retail operations at Case. “Having the latest technology available makes everyday life on campus for our faculty, staff and students safer and more convenient.”
“The U.S. Bank team is proud to establish a partnership with Case Western Reserve University,” said Tom Zirbs, regional retail manager for U.S. Bank in Cleveland, Akron and Columbus. “Case is a highly respected school, and we’re very excited about the opportunity to serve the students, faculty, and staff who choose to utilize the new U.S. Bank functions on their CaseOneCards.”
