Blackboard announces BbWorld Commerce ’07 Users Conference for campus service professionals

Duke University’s vice president for student affairs, Larry Moneta, will deliver the keynote address at Blackboard’s dedicated users conference April 15-18, 2007, in Carefree, Arizona. Devoted to Blackboard’s Commerce Suite clients, the company has also issued a call for proposals for presentations at the conference.
WASHINGTON, DC – Blackboard Inc., a leading provider of enterprise technology to the education industry, announces a dedicated users conference for Blackboard Commerce Suite clients, BbWorld Commerce ‘07. The three-day conference will be held in Carefree, Arizona, April 15 – 18, 2007, and will provide unique opportunities for educational professionals focused on student life and campus services to network with peers from across the country.
Larry Moneta, Vice President for Student Affairs at Duke University, will deliver the opening keynote address on the challenges of integrating student consumer and learner needs on the contemporary college campus. BbWorld Commerce ‘07 will feature a robust client-centered program with sessions dedicated to the use of identification technology to enhance the student experience. Topics will include wireless technologies, Social Security conversion strategies, access control and card office management strategies, among others.
