The Hayward, California Fire Department has chosen BIO-key’s FireRMS records management system to aid its firefighters at the city’s nine stations to better keep up with incident reporting as well as to track the certification and training required of first responders.

The decision to purchase BIO-key’s FireRMS came on strong recommendation from surrounding agencies that already use the BIO-key system. Hayward Fire sought to replace an outdated system that did not provide the tools that the command staff required to effectively do their jobs, and chose FireRMS for the task.
