BAS Trucks, based just south of Amsterdam, has chosen to go with Zebra’s ISO/IEC 24730-2 real time locating system for providing slot visibility for its inventory of used-trucks.
The ISO 24730-2 RTLS solution will provide BAS Trucks with increased visibility to aid in stock count, truck movement, and vehicle location.
With the new system BAS Trucks looks to increase sales and improve customer service, as they will be able to eliminate manual searches, analyze vehicle movements and dwell times, and instantly inform customers of the availability of alternative models.
The used freight truck and trailer dealer sells more than 100 trucks per week, with a continually rotating inventory of 800 to 1,250 vehicles across multiple sites.
