Avery Dennison goes high frequency

Avery Dennison’s RFID division has announced its entry into the HF RFID inlay market. The firm makes its first foray into the HF scene with three new platform products.
Much of the market for HF RFID devices in the media management, health care and asset tracking sectors of the industry. The new Avery Dennison platforms, given the product identification numbers AD-709, AD-714 and AD-720, will focus on those markets, with a variety of configurations available to meet diverse application requirements. Additional information about the new product lines will be available at upcoming industry events.
“While we offer a broad array of… UHF products, many of our customers have asked us to enter the high frequency arena,” says Jack Farrell, vice president and general manager of the RFID Division of Avery Dennison. “Our new HF product line is a natural extension of our experience.”
