ActivIdentity upgrades authentication capabilities for financial services market

ActivIdentity launched a new version of its 4TRESS Authentication Server featuring an appliance-based system that will provide a wide-range authentication service available across multiple channels.
By combining the hardware security module that is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 4+ compliant with ActivIdentity authentication solution, the 4TRESS can serve a more cost effective and secure product within the financial sector. The product aims to help small to mid-level size banks develop a comprehensive a secure e-banking Web site.
In addition to featuring traditional authentication methods such as one-time password, out-of-band transaction codes and public key infrastructure certificates, the solution diversifies its service channels making it available to conduct transactions from many financial service organizations around the world. Additionally a feature of the new version will come pre-configured for TEMENOS T24 ARC Internet Banking
