Accu-Time introduces new biometric solution

Accu-Time Systems, developer of work force management systems and software, have announced the availability of its new workforce management terminal that includes an optical fingerprint reader for biometric identification authentication, according to a TMCnet article.
The fingerprint readers for the system are being supplied by biometric technology developer Lumidigm and are from their Mercury line of fingerprint readers.
Both Lumidigm and Accu-Time tout the biometric feature of the system as a huge money saver due to the optical aspect significantly reducing enrollment and false read issues.
