Advanced ID Obtains First Order for UHF RFID Readers in India
CALGARY, AB – (MARKET WIRE) – November 01, 2006 – Advanced ID Corporation (OTCBB: AIDO), through its Thailand-based subsidiary, Advanced ID AAE, announces that it has received an order and forecast for 100 UHF RFID readers. The initial delivery requirements are 10 readers for immediate shipment with 90 readers to be scheduled through early 2007. Bar Code India, exclusive distributor for Advanced ID products in India, adds that reader orders in the future will often include requirements for Advanced ID RFID tags.
These Advanced ID hand-held, EPC Gen2, UHF RFID readers are designed to perform well in harsh environmental applications and will be used for tracking of equipment for a large Indian refinery.
