One Card Digital Wallet to be protected by FPC sensor
The SmartMetric One Card Digital Wallet solution stores information for multiple cards in a single, smart card that is now protected by biometrics.
Fingerprint Cards (FPC) is providing the swipe sensor that will be employed for user authentication and the subsequent unlocking of the digital wallet. Authentication is performed by simply swiping a registered finger on the FPC sensor, while matching is conducted locally within the card itself, where user data is also stored encrypted inside the card’s secure memory.
The self-powered card can store sensitive information from credit cards, IDs, driver licenses and more. It can also be used in conjunction with a small EMV card-reading USB adaptor for use with online authentication and transactions.
