Device reputation protector iovation has launched Phone Verification, a two-factor authentication product to fight fraud.
The system uses TeleSign’s two-factor authentication technology to provide security during high-risk transaction screening. During an online transaction, the system will activate and send a one-time passcode to a user’s landline or mobile phone. The user enters the code into a specific web site for authentication to the site.
The product works in real time and has global capabilities, with the ability to send passcodes to over 200 countries in over 87 languages and dialects. When combined with iovation’s ReputationManager 360 product, this system can meet FFIEC compliance.
iovation and Telesign are hosting a webinar on February 12 to demonstrate the system.
