IT security solution provider Celestix has added new features to its HOTPin two-factor authentication server. Along with one-time password generation through soft tokens and clientless authentication through SMS, HOTPin now can support hardware tokens and on screen authentication via virtual keyboard.
Celestix has also added more functionality to the product’s existing authentication form factors. They now include QR code key import, multi-tenancy and SMS send ahead for authentication. These functions exist even when the user is out of network coverage.
Administrators can now leverage the product through AD synchronization, a reporting console and user self-provisioning site.
Celestix aims for the new release of HOTPin to help users adopt the technology and manage authentication better because they have one less authentication device to carry.
