TrakSchool integrated solution employs RFID-GPS to improve the safety on campus
Ennovasys announced the release of its RFID-GPS solution designed for ensuring the safety of school children: TrakSchool. The integrated solution enables parents and schools to keep track of students under their care through with the combination of RFID, GPS and GPRS technologies.
RFID and GPS technology are used for data collection and monitoring and then sent through GPRS to a cloud server for processing. TrakSchool provides alerts in the form of SMS and email. Additional features include safety confirmation and integration with school management systems, mapping using Google and other commercial maps, alerts on exceptions.
The cloud server also provides the tracking capability in a real-time visual model and connects with school applications for time and attendance management. TrakSchool is offered in both public as well as private cloud. Cloud enabling provides easier access to parents, teacher and other stake holders to get the critical information quicker.
