Reduction in sensor size and new software has enabled Fujitsu to improve its vein pattern technology, says Dan Dalton, director of new product development in the advanced technology group for Fujitsu Frontech North America.

“Not only have we reduced the size of the sensor, made it much faster, much more efficient, but we’ve also released new software that allows you to do much faster vein pattern recognition as well as adjusting for roll, pitch and yaw type of artifacts that come into any type of biometrics,” Dalton says.
