New software to incorporate NFC Technology on Android
Trusted Logic has improved the security on its TRUSTED NFC software platform, specifically designing it for the Google Android system. Using Near Field Communication connectivity, Trusted NFC mobile phone application provides security for development of applications in mobile operations.
The mobile device features Android NFC Service Manager Support and equips the newest version of the software with NFC control user interface and multiple application handling.
In addition UICC and Secure Elements from are also accessible through Android applications in the new software. The ability to makes the NFC market move toward open source application frameworks requires a mature NFC Android API proposal in order to become incorporated in the Android base line.
An example of a successful NFC Android reference implementation is NXP’s PN544 NFC controller. Trusted Logic enables this NFC mixing most common operating systems and assists the manufacturing process for handsets.
