Mobile cloud services expect rise in annual revenue

An increased demand for converged mobile broadband services has boosted the annual revenue for cloud-based mobile applications. A recent study by Juniper Research estimated revenue to reach $9.5 billion by 2014. Research also shows growth due to the releasing of HTML 5, the Smart Card Web Server and other technology enablers.
Consumer applications are to contribute a large part to the increased capitol. However businesses, which use the product to more efficiently store data and synchronize company services, are expected to be the target market for these mobile applications in the next five years.
Though other enterprises are not convinced of the reliability of the service and feel that it is susceptible to high-profile data loss.
In addition the report showed a constraint on growth due to a still lacking network storage capacity. This study asks these cloud-based mobile providers is to prove to consumers that that their data will be secure with the service.
