Zvetco Biometrics launched ten new biometric readers in its Verifi line of products. These include both biometric-only and biometric/smart card combination devices.

The new models include the Verifi P4600 and P5200 desktop fingerprint readers that are about 1/3 of an inch thick.

Zvetco has five new readers in its industrial grade product line. The P6000M and P6000 TPM are expansions of its FIPS-201 approved P6000 model but have a more durable and mountable housing. The P5100TPM, P4600TPM and P5200TPM feature options in sensor size, feature set and price.

Zvetco also has two new readers in its combination biometric/smart card capable product line. The P5600 and P5400 readers offer On Card Matching and applications that require both biometrics and a smart card scan, as well as electro-static discharge protections.

The Verifi readers feature AuthenTec SteelCoat technology to the sensor for added durability and ruggedness. The mountable readers conceal the USB cable for tamper prevention.

The new readers are available for purchase. Zvetco offers reseller pricing, bulk discounts and private labeling for hardware and some software products.
