VASCO Data Security International Inc. launched a version of MYDIGIPASS.COM for consumers to authenticate and securely log in to Web sites and Web applications.

The product adds strong user authentication to tens of thousands of online B2B and B2C Web-based applications. Using a soft- or hardware client device, such as DIGIPAS, dormant embedded DIGIPASS, DIGIPASS+ devices and smart card enabled national ID cards, MYDIGIPASS.COM can secure consumer online accounts. With MYDIGIPASS.COM, consumers only have to log in once to access all activated sites.

MYDIGIPASS.COM offers two-factor authentication using one-time passwords. It has optional out-of-band authentication via QR codes for use on iPhones, iPad 2 and 3 and Android phones. A backup authentication is available via text message, and consumers can store, update and share credentials in one place.

VASCO plans to add additional services and features to the product in future updates.

Web application owners can get a MYDIGIPASS.COM membership for $3,000, which includes the activation of 500 users and 10,000 secure logins. Additional pricing models for other user levels are available.
