Biometric identification and object recognition technology provider Neurotechnology has released updates to its line of Software Development Kits (SDKs) for single and multi-biometric recognition of fingerprint, face, iris and voice identification and object recognition.

The updated SDKs include VeriFinger 6.5 and VeriFinger Embedded 1.1 for fingerprint identification. The new release has an increased recognition reliability, and its algorithm has a 20 percent decrease in the false rejection rate when set at the same false acceptance rate.

VeriLook 5.2 SDK’s new algorithm improves on facial recognition reliability with enhancements for faces that are rotated out-of-plane. This algorithm also applies to the updates for VeriLook Embedded 1.1 and VeriLook Surveillance 2.1.

VeriEye 2.5 and VeriEye Embedded 1.0 SDKs have a faster algorithm and new template extraction option for iris scanning.

VeriSpeak 1.0 SDK adds pause detection technology and the capability for unique user pass-phrase and fixed phrase recognition. The VeriSpeak Embedded 1.0 SDK uses this same algorithm and can be used in smart phones and other mobile devices.

MegaMatcher 4.3 SDK and MegaMatcher Embedded 1.1 SDK are designed for large-scale use, with improved algorithms and development of multi-biometric scanning using any combination of fingerprint, face, iris and voice identification.

SentiSight 3.1 and SentiSight Embedded 1.0 SDKs for object recognition and computer vision have a faster algorithm and multiple object tracking capabilities.

Neurotechnology’s SDKs support the Android OS and are designed for Java development. The new products are available for licensing through Neurotechnology or its distributors. Neurotechnology also offers 30-day trials through its web site.
