Tyfone signed a 10-year deal with PT Number One, an Indonesia-based secure ID solutions provider, to bring its iCashe mobile financial services platform to the Indonesian market.

According to Tyfone, PT Number One has enabled the personalization of more than 100 million cards for Indonesia’s leading banks, including each of the country’s top 10 banks. The partnership will give these banks access to Tyfone’s iCashe services, enabling their customers to use services such as mobile banking, smart card-based identity management for mobile security and mobile payments – with and without NFC.

The partnership will also provide a framework for delivering mobile solutions with over-the-air personalization services for secure ID and NFC contactless payments via Tyfone’s u4ia mobility platform.

PT Number One and Tyfone will start the roll out under the iCashe brand with the following three solutions:

  • Mobile Banking: This service includes standard mobile banking features in addition to bill payment, security analytics, mobile remote deposit capture (mRDC), iCashe Mobile Wallet and more.

  • Identity Management for Cloud: Tyfone’s SideSafe form factors enable the extension of hardware security to cloud-based transactions on mobile devices, with a scalable platform that enables the deployment of identity management solutions.

  • Contactless NFC for In-Store Payments: Tyfone’s SideTap secure element solution is carrier agnostic and device independent, with an integrated NFC antenna that enables contactless payment capabilities. The SideTap MicroSD design is now available for manufacturing in high volumes and is compatible with existing MicroSD manufacturing processes, according to Tyfone.
