Two Technologies, a developer of rugged, mobile computing solutions, has announced the release of a new line of handheld computers called HANDGEAR (HG) that includes four different models.
All four models come with a number of features among which include a FIPS 201 compatible fingerprint scanner, an RFID interrogator, a three track magnetic card reader, a 1D and 2D bar code reader, an integrated 5MP camera and an integrated printer.
In addition to the capabilities and features the HG has, it is also able to use GPS, WAN, WLAN and Bluetooth communication and includes rugged features such as a more than 40 hour battery life and a Xenoy case with drop and shock protection.
Due to this as well as its design for use with gloved hands, Two Technologies feels their new offering is best suited for public safety, field service, parking services and military applications.
