Truecount RFID and TAGIT-EAS announced a joint partnership to create a new “singlet tag/single application” solution for advanced inventory management and loss protection for the retail industry and supply chain.

This new electronic article tracking and surveillance system will combine Truecount’s item-level RFID software with TAGIT-EAS’s Electro Magnetic (EM) systems to create a single system for tracking items.

As a result, retailers will be able track all inventory from source to destination, in real time via advanced RFID, redundantly backed up by a strong EAS that is almost impossible for criminals to defeat, the Circumvention Resistant RFID (CRRFID) Tag.

The single tag solution will enable retailers to accurately manage inventory and combat retail crime at the same time – virtually eliminating shrink due to shoplifting, employee theft, internal errors and supply chain mistakes.
