Swiss-based Trüb Group, a supplier of payment cards and national identity documents, has released the third generation of its CombOS DDA for EMV compliant smart card products.

New specs from MasterCard, M/Chip Advance and Visa, VSDC v1.5.3 drove the creation of this version of the OS, and it features increased payment transaction speed and other new functionalities. An additional feature is its improved security, due to the integration of the new Infineon SLE78 chip with Integrity Guard. It also has complete backward compatibility with M/Chip 2 and M/Chip 4.

This new version will be on the market starting in July.
