Tim Hortons, a Canadian casual restaurant known for its coffee and doughnuts, will offer new contactless payment options to its customer by the end of this year, according to MarketNews.
All 3,000 outlets will be equipped with Interac Association’s Flash-enabled terminals, with the majority of these installations already completed.
The new contactless payment system will enable customers to pay by simply scanning their Interac Flash card over an enabled terminal with the need for a PIN number.
Bringing the new payment option will improve the speed of service at the counter and in the drive-thru, providing further value and convenience to both the merchant and its guests.
